Yes. Honey Creek Haven sits inside Turner Falls Park itself, not on the highway outside it. That's the whole point of the place — you're already in when the day visitors are leaving.

Yes, and we'd rather you hear it from us than at the gate. Turner Falls Park charges admission at its regular daily rate, and staying in a cabin inside the park doesn't exempt you from it. It's paid to the park directly, separately from what you pay us, and it isn't something we can waive or discount.

What you get for it is the part that isn't on anyone else's listing: you're inside the gates, so you come and go on your own schedule rather than the park's, and the place doesn't empty out around you in the evening. Budget for it when you're comparing us to a cabin out on the highway — it's a real cost, and it's the honest trade.

Six is the real number, not a stretch. A king bed in the downstairs bedroom, and a queen plus a super-queen sofa bed in the loft. There's one bathroom, so six is comfortable for a family or two couples rather than six strangers on a schedule.

If you have children 12 or under, yes — and this is the one we'd most like you to read before you drive down. Turner Falls Park requires a Coast Guard-approved life jacket on every child 12 and under, anywhere in the water. It's enforced strictly, and the park doesn't rent or lend them.

Families do arrive without them and end up spending the first afternoon of a weekend driving back into Davis or watching from the bank. Pick some up before you leave home if you can.

Unfortunately not, and it isn't our call. Turner Falls Park doesn't permit pets anywhere inside the gates, so we can't make an exception for the cabin. Plan for a sitter or a kennel.

Quieter than you'd expect for a cabin in a busy park. It's new construction with closed-cell foam insulation through the walls and roof, which cuts outside noise and also stops the loft from hearing the kitchen. The loft has its own heat and air unit too, so nobody is negotiating the thermostat.

500 Mbps down, 50 up, unlimited. There's a dedicated desk, office chair, monitor and printer in the downstairs bedroom. People do stretch a weekend into a working week here.

No, and we'd rather say so plainly. It's built into a hillside, so there are stairs up from the parking area, and the loft is up another flight. If mobility is a concern for anyone in your group, message us first and we'll walk you through exactly what the approach looks like.

There are three exterior cameras: the doorbell, one covering the front of the cabin, and one on the parking area. They're there for the property when nobody's staying. There are no cameras inside the cabin, and none on the screened porch or the firepit terrace.

Not this season. We're taking bookings through Airbnb for our first year, which means you get their payment protection, cancellation terms and review system. Direct booking is something we plan to add later.
