Honey Creek Haven is a new luxury two-bedroom cabin built inside Turner Falls Park, overlooking the iconic water bridge and just steps away from the rippling waters of Honey Creek. When you stay at Honey Creek Haven, you're instantly transported to a place where time slows down and the little things in life are appreciated. Whether enjoying a meal or drinks on our large screened in porch overlooking the park or storytelling and roasting marshmallows around our firepit patio, our hope is that you create wonderful memories with those you hold dear.
Two very different parks
The perfect getaway any time of the year
Come stay during the Secret Season! Everyone knows that summer weekends at Turner Falls Park are busy, filled with lots of people and energy. If that's your vibe, then come on out! If you're someone who loves the sound of birds singing in the morning, quiet hikes surrounded by colorful trees and gentle creeks, and exploring an almost century old castle, then stay with us during the off season — the Secret Season!
The park runs its summer season May 1 through September 30. Everything either side of that is the Secret Season — and the cabin is heated, insulated and just as comfortable in January as in July.
Why this one
A modern build in a park full of rustic cabins
Turner Falls has plenty of rustic cabins. Ours isn't one of them. Built new from the ground up, it's designed for the kind of comfort you'll appreciate most after a long day in the park: plush bedding, spa-style shower, and every detail considered.
You can't hear the park, and the park can't hear you
Closed-cell foam insulation through the exterior walls and roof keeps park noise and other people's music outside. In a park that's busy from mid-morning on, that's the difference between a nap and no nap.

Built into the mountain, not bolted onto the yard
A flagstone patio tucked into the mountainside behind the cabin, with a dry-stacked rock wall and benches carved into the hillside. There's a smokeless firepit in the middle and a park-style charcoal grill at the edge of it. Flagstone paths lead to the cabin steps and down to the parking area.
Stream music or sporting events to the outdoor speakers from your smartphone. It's the part of the property where guests end up spending the most time.
160 square feet of outside, without the bugs
Elevated, fully screened, and facing the water. Seating for seven, two ceiling fans for the Oklahoma summer, two electric heaters for the shoulder months, and its own speaker zone. Most of the year it works as the most popular room in the cabin.
Where six people sleep
One bedroom down, one loft up
The king bedroom
Fourteen by thirteen, with a 65-inch TV, blackout blinds, a ceiling fan, a large dresser and a hanging rack. There's a proper desk and office chair in the corner if someone has to work.
The loft
A high end queen bed and a super-queen pull out sofa bed, plus a 75-inch TV and seating for eight. It has a dedicated heat and air unit to maximize comfort for the upstairs guests.
Fifteen hundred acres, and you're in them
What's outside the door
The falls, three caves, a 1930s rock castle up the hill, and the Blue Hole swimming pool on Honey Creek. There's also a trail out to Cross Bar Ranch, 6,500 acres of off-road park. Beyond the gates: fried pies, an Amish country store and a chocolate factory, all inside fifteen minutes.

The 1930s rock house up the hillside, free to wander, with an overlook above the falls at the top of the stairs.
The caves & the creek
Three natural caves in the park, plus the Blue Hole with its slide and diving platforms, and shallow stretches of Honey Creek for smaller kids.
Trails
Marked trails through the Arbuckles, including the loop up to the castle and the overlooks above the canyon.
Sean & Trish
Why there's a cabin here at all
Sean's grandfather bought a cabin in this park in the 1930s and remodeled it in the early eighties. Sean spent a good part of his childhood in it — in the creek, up at the castle, out on the trails nobody had marked yet.
When he and Trish had sons of their own, they brought them back here a few times a year to do the same things. Honey Creek Haven got built to hand that on: the same park, the same water, with a cabin that's easier to spend a weekend in than the one he grew up in.
